I was recently reminded of a little poker trivia about Richard "Quiet Lion" Brodie that I thought I would pass along. This is from Brodie's bio on Wikopedia...
Richard "Quiet Lion" Brodie is the original author of Microsoft Word[1][2], was employee #77 at Microsoft and is now a professional poker player. He is also the author of two books: Virus of the Mind: The New Science of the Meme, and Getting Past OK: A Straightforward Guide To Having a Fantastic Life!.
During the World Series of Poker of 2006, he mentioned the red squiggly underline marking misspelled words in Microsoft Word was his idea. His recent exploits on the World Poker Tour can be seen at his blog. As of 2006, his total live tournament winnings exceed $180,000.
